Does Joanne have a chance for Album Of The Year at the Grammys?

I highly doubt she would gain any nominations for the album, however, Million Reasons has a very big chance of getting nominated. Million Reasons is really the standout track of the album, and its longevity proves that.

I think she'd be lucky to even be part of the Pop Vocal Album category. There have been a lot of big albums released these couple of months. I can already see Starboy, Divide, Damn. and 24k Magic be nominated for Album Of The Year and that's without the always unexpected album, plus Lorde is about to release hers as well.

I really hope she gets at least one for Million Reasons but yeah it's tough now.

I'd be highly surprised - much more likely she'd be nominated for BPVA, which she also has a great shot at winning, thanks to our good friend MR.

Joanne is at odd place, it is not pop enough but not country either to be nominated as one.

Agreed, Lady Gaga has been the most successful female artist this year, which could lead to Joanne being nominated. I mean, the Grammys aren't going to nominate five men..... at least I hope not.

Joanne is an incredibly well executed album with very mature and heart wrenching concepts and imagery. The production is absolutely beautiful and the craftsmanship and work ethic that she put into this album is so authentic and it definitely comes across. I honestly would not be surprised at all if it gets a nomination. Winning is tricky however... I just keep thinking that Beck won based on talent and quality alone, so why can't Gaga? Even though it still sold well, but compared to other blockbusters this year, it didn't quite as much. Doesn't mean to say that it isn't a deserving album and could still win. I feel like a few people in this thread keep linking sales and charts into it, when they don't apply at all.    

I honestly can't make a judgement call though since I haven't listened to DAMN or Starboy yet, but Divide is NOT good and that's not me being a Ed hater because I loved Multiply. Divide is just rubbish in my opinion. It probably will get a nom though as it's been overrated like no tomorrow. 

I don't know about the win but I'm pretty sure a nom is on lock for Joanne.
