A batch of new technologies that will be commercialized within a few years will lower production costs by 46% helping to keep Canada competitive in a new eranof low oil prices

The new technologies which include a mixture of solvents, high underground microwaves, carbon and steam capture, and re-usage of water will also reduce CO2 emmissions by 80% and reduce water consumption by up to 90%.
