I didn't expect it either! There was a discussion about them in here the other day. They did actually play it once during the week as well. It's pretty odd that they play it, but a good odd. Very good sign.

I don't think she will make top ten this week. The jump in streaming today was really impressive but I imagine the climb will be a little slower now - she likely got a lot of streams from the New Music Friday playlist. Spotify not updating the charts today won't help, either.

It will almost certainly climb on the official chart this week, but I wouldn't say top 10 yet. It's very possible that it will in the next few weeks, though  Particularly if we get a killer vid.

The impact date isn't relevant to the UK, just the US. Our radios don't really work the same as theirs do - not that impact dates particularly dictate how much a station plays a song in the US, either. UK stations have it already, but as long as it continues to grow into a hit, it should start getting more and more airplay. It's been a good start. Seems like only Radio 1 have different rules.
