Will Stay claim #1 in a couple hours?

Yes probably, but it's nothing to worry about yet.

We have only just started getting support for the song from radio (even though radio isn't meant to impact until next week) and streaming. It's a gift that it has even held onto #1 for this long.

PI didn't stay #1 this long and it had a lot more hype and promo and support than The Cure.

It will fall cause

1st day was outselling Stay with more than 10K

2nd day outselling with about 4-5K

Today only outselling with 1K :(

But maybe will rise after Coachella 2 and maybe a video or performance and don't forget it ain't on radio yet that will help it's sales a lot probably

And at least now we have Spotify support keep The Cure on repeat on TTH playlist

Lol it's kinda easy. Let it drop. Discount it next week. Drop the mv. Radio deal. And we stream the **** out of it. Perfect recipe for billboard no.1 :trollga:

I know I'm being delusional. ONE CAN HOPE OKAY?:emma:

You're probably not being delusional this time

Spotify biggest playlists including TTH

Radio eating it up even before being sent to

And #1 WW itunes for 3rd day

If it didn't became a big hit it's our fault :grr:

We are having the same 'issues' here in the UK. Clean Bandit look like they might be taking her top spot today :cryga:

As of this writing, its just been updated that Symphony is just 11 points away from claiming the top spot. But I'm thrilled the song has hung on as long as it has. I'm honestly surprised that people are still here for Clean Bandit, though. I thought they'd totally be one hit wonders with Rather Be but then they came back massively with Tears and Rockabye and now here's another one. I honestly don't know why they're quite as successful as all that. Most acts like them drop after one successful year. I guess featuring artists that are current right now helps. If they did it all on their own merits, it might be a different story. The Cure could easily hold well in the top 5 next week and rise. It's a newer song, so it'll have that edge. After weeks of domination from Ed, I'm sure radio's looking for something new.

It's really not as much of a dream as one would think. This is how most artists get #1 now. I'm not having high hopes for this single, just realistic ones. I genuinely didn't expect to login today to see it still at #1, however precarious its position is. Being realistic and borderline negative helps to ensure a surprising success, I've noticed. I've given up having overly optimistic expectations of Gaga when it comes to her single performances. Ever since AP, I've taken the advice of Doris Day - what will be will be.

She's gone down to number 3 in the UK. I'm praying she's back at number 1 by the morning!

In Italy The Cure is like #10 because Italians love Despacito (in all its shapes and sizes) and other Spanish songs.
