If an EP is coming, it's probably because of the excitement she got from performing at the Super Bowl and wanting to be on top again like that. An EP doesn't have to follow. She's not a traditional musician so it's not shocking that she doesn't want to release songs in an outdated format. Besides, it's something she's wanted to do for awhile. I remember her wanting to with the song 'Cake' in particular but the label and Troy weren't here for it. I think this is the same thing. Bobby was easily on board and Interscope probably didn't see a third single on 'Joanne' so they didn't have much of a choice. It makes sense. While I don't like the song, I think it's a cute summer single that should help her streaming numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if she returns to 'Joanne' for a fourth single to promote the tour. 'Dancing in Circles' has a better shot then with the GP and radio. If anything, I am just worried this route might confuse casuals if it's causing her diehards to be in a frenzy. But whatever, really. She hates doing promo and this is a song that doesn't need any! It's an ideal song to keep her name out there while filming. I think she'll be happy to give another song more effort once she's done with ASTIB. I don't think she filmed a video and if she hasn't by now then I doubt she will. I love her ultra pop stuff but I also adore that album. She does too and probably always will. If you wanna say that the album was not well received you need some more evidence than 'i saw a couple of people agree with me'. In metacritic the album rates higher than ARTPOP and around the same as Born This Way. So no correlation with your statement. i just think it's disrespectful to think of Gaga as a crowds pleaser who will completely chanhe her image and sound as soon as her album is not 'well received'. She has more integrity than that. She has been proving it since day 1, what else does she have to do to make you understand?
