The Cure = Having little faith in Joanne singles?

Oh yeah I guess we just have different tastes. I like JW and its music vid but I wouldn't rank it super high. Her not making it a single (I feel like) is her giving us one last Joanne mv before she moves on.

The only song left on Joanne that sounded like it could get played on general pop radio was A-YO, and even that would have struggled next to what it would have been competing with.

We were told before Joanne even came out to not expect a full blown packed era. I think they took as many opportunities as they could to promote the album but they weren't going to go out their way to promote it since it's more of an acquired taste; more for the fans.

The Cure is a great song and single choice.

No denying that. But if S&M could get on the radio, Dancin' in Circles can get on the radio. Hey girl as potential on radio, and I think A-YO still has a shot if performed at the VMAs or gets major exposure.

I think the purpose of this song is to promote the tour, its to tell people that it will be pop and not all Joanne/countryish songs.  She did that with the poster too. Its her in sunglasses (like The Fame) in California, its not with the pink hat.
