When people still think that "the Illuminati" was anything more than music's effective alter ego, and fail to realize that its targeted purpose is of nothing to do with pop music. The Illuminati has nothing to do with shock value in pop music's videos or lyrics circa 2007-2014. Whether or not any of the movement's participants has had an interest or study/pursuit in Freemasonry (as I am currently studying), Rihanna, Gaga, Beyonce, Young Money's members or whomever are just simply following a tactic that seemed to have gained statistics due to albums like "Good Girl Gone Bad" or "The Fame/Monster" or "I Am Sasha Fierce".

Satan and Illuminati doesn't exist too. Illuminati may have existed some hundreds of years ago but nowadays i just don't see it real and if it was real I'm more than sure that is not like how people are speculating on the internet. On the other hand, Gaga likes weird / strange visuals because like how she said once she likes "the art of darkness" not because she's evil lol in fact if i was on her shoes i'll be even more dark than that bc i like it. So don't worry

She just played on some of the themes at the start of her career to get people talking and watching what she was doing.
