It was supposed to have a funk, disco, dance and soul feel to it with some rock influence. The only song that kinda reflects that off Joanne is Perfect Illusion. She's always been in the studio. Do you know what mastering a song is? She said she was working on NEW music. Didn't say what date she wrote The Cure. It was just finished recently.
