boobtank 9,090 Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 Before anyone comes for me, that Coachella set was great, I am so proud of what Gaga has achieved this year & to top it off, she just released the flaw-free 'The Cure'. Now that that's out of the way... I can't believe Perfect Illusion (one of her best singles) was left out of the set AGAIN. First she paid it dust by not promoting it on US television, then she didn't do it at the Superbowl and now Coachella I mean... she performed Teeth and Speechless over the lead single off of her most recent album and I just don't get why she doing perfect illusion like this. Is it because of the mixed critical reception and the fact that it wasn't a commercial hit? The Perfect Illusion disrespect level is far too much... I can't believe it. Barely sold 300k, half of the fanbase hates it, 90% of the GP hates it. I see why she wouldn't wanna perform it. Plus it's actually really f*cking hard to sing too. Although I am starting to think she just doesn't like to perform the song live. Maybe she doesn't feel comfortable or hasn't found a way to perform it as explosive as it is. I waited 1, 2, 3 minutes for her to show up and sing the rest of the song, but nah. Plus the song was soooo long ! This and the absence of Perfecet Illusion are my two sole regrets.
