We have the answer now: A catchy song with modern production which doesn't overpower her subtle hooks and nuances. Old school RnB vibes. Generic enough for the GP, but still very Gaga at the same time. You can't deny her genius. It also takes great restraint on her part to keep control of the song so that it doesn't become 'too Gaga'. And to people wanting pop smashes from her but 'not' ones that sound like this, step into the real world. This is what a radio hit sounds like in 2017. Be proud of her for delivering and staying relevant. She will be all over the airwaves this summer, just as all you LMs want!! It's time to CELEBRATE and enjoy the ride of this song which is sure to BLOWWWW up. She may be irrelevant again very soon, let's enjoy this era of slayage!!! I love 90's music (Destinys Child, TLC, Mariah Carey etc) so this song is perfect. The GP is gonna eat this up. Sooo does this mean she's own to the next album or what? Where do you see that in this pool of varying opinions exactly the fans who dislike Joanne are fans who think it's too """alternative""" and at the same time are the fans who now find this too pop, but are also the same ones who say they don't care about charts but secretely they're also the same ones who really just care about success?! Maybe that's all different opinions from different people, not the same ones lmao. And liking this song is not the only logical option for people who disliked Joanne? I also love the fact that they used the somewhat cliché vocal effects in the instrumental, but left her singing parts very natural. I feel like we needed a new POP bop since she has strayed from it a lot during this Joanne era. I don't care what anyone says, Pop is Gaga's BEST genre.
