@littlemonsterL5 Bop, one of my faves.

@Bio The reason I always find myself going back to this album, apart from the brilliant production, is that all these songs are relatable as **** and they hit me deeply. Limbo is a perfect example of that. I’ve suffered with depression since I was 12, have taken medicine and gone to therapy a lot, and this song describe what I’ve gone through multiple times. The chaos here, you feel totally lost when you listen to it, like there is no solution to life. This album should be crowned the best one ever.

@Turuncan One of the tracks on the album that I am not very interested in. Would have served better as a b-side.

@juju This song charges through and never quite loses its momentum. Sonically, it’s like Madonna’s “Skin” but better and more believable.

@VOLANTIS A song that will slay you through and through. Expect wig to take off with your scalp.

IndieKylie: While taking into account her whole career, Dreams came out on top for Impossible Princess, evaluating an album individually is a bit different and this is why Limbo is my number 11. This song really exemplifies the angst, the experimentation, and the emotion. I love the energy in Kylie’s vocals, there’s something about this song that gets under my skin in the best ways possible.

@littlemonsterL5 I didn't know Kylie could do this, incredible.

@Bio We go through life with so much fear, we try to protect ourselves from everything around us and we forget that feeling is living. The emotion she puts on the vocals are spot on. Another fantastic song.

@Turuncan Might have as well served as an album closer, considering it points to the future of Kylie and possesses a very dramatic orchestration.

@juju When Kylie commits to trip-hop, it’s unparalleled when compared to her other contemporary "pop girls". She’s capable of adapting in some pretty mind-blowing ways, which is what’s earned her a place among the greats of our time.

@VOLANTIS The meaningful lyrics makes this hot track even hotter.

IndieKylie: One of the better slow burning songs on the album, its simple chorus somehow earworms its way into your brain.

@littlemonsterL5 Love the feel of this, amazing.

@Bio The first time I listened to this album it was 10 years after its release (also 10 years ago) and I remember it like it was today. I was completely shocked because I thought I knew Kylie Minogue and apparently I didn’t know her at all. This song puts you into the mood of the album instantly. It screams 90’s alternative and it haunts you to the core with great lyrics and a mixture of electronic beats with piano, electric guitars and violins. Brilliant.

@Turuncan I have always regarded this album as the “depression on a dance floor” album. That being said, ‘Too Far’ is the perfect opener. It sets the dark and haunting tone very conveniently, leading to a rhythm of trance layered on lyrics of desperation. So sexy, doomy, and energetic at the same time!

@juju A rather eclectic album opener; the spoken word moments are chill-inducing. It’s a necessary introduction, but I find the material that follows to be far stronger, and more my taste.

@VOLANTIS It’s only the opening track and it pumps energy that is very well carried out through the album.

IndieKylie: Incredible album opener that sets the tone for the album. The experimental production, vocal range, and lyrical exploration pays homage to fellow Queen Shirley Manson (of Garbage).
