It's their own fault. Very unprofessional and barbaric.

They choose to harm paying costumer and treat him like an animal rather than asked 4 of their employees to aboard next flight.

Yes, that's what those particular employees did and they deserve to be punished severely. But suppose your hard working friendly competent father was laid off work because of some other jerk, would you still be cheering?

It's not just one jerk. It's because of the policies of the airline and the actions of the CEO afterwards.

This is a PR nightmare. As CEO, Apologize! Compensate... Don't double down on the mistake!

Oh I'm definitely not sad for the CEO. His response was absolute garbage and I hope he gets fired and someone who can actually do his job gets his place.

I don't know, everything has positives and negatives. For example I am glad this happened so that I know never to fly with this company, but I can't help feeling sad for the innocent people who will get laid off.

Also to the guy who tried claiming this is a "justification for violence".. I don't even.

And none of  these are relevant to the issue.

It reminds me of victims of police brutality, shooting unarmed black men; next day you see a headline "victim actually had a history of smoking marijuana, stole a gum once and posed with guns on Facebook".

Exactly, so not necessary cos regardless they treated paying costumer like an animal and if only they did that uncaught, they can always do worse next time. Bless anyone who filmed it tbh.

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Mess :air: I kinda feel bad because like probably hundreds if not thousands of people are probably going to lose their jobs because of one mis-hired guy who has anger issues.

Not at all "one mis-hired guy". I am pretty sure if it was that one guy's issue, UA could have easily fired him and released a REAL apology . Then there will be much less noise. The CEO's attitude made it worse actually. :nails:

I don't really understand why everyone is blaming United and not Chicago PD?

I mean, they surely could've handled the situation better and the apology was garbage, but the main issue (the violence) was done by the officer? It's not like United asked them to violently remove the passenger.
