I feel like the car in the background is just like "we need a car in the background to keep it consistent!" and its not a deliberate choice...

Like, what does that truck have to do with the aesthetic of the album? Her classic Mercedes-Benz on Ultraviolence and the black and white of it was very aesthetically pleasing, and its beautifully placed in the background. I don't personally love the standard Honeymoon cover, but that vehicle does have a purpose even if the words are ugly on it :smh:

This, along with the border makes it feel kinda out of place

Yeah I totally see what you mean and agree :noparty:

The border takes up so much of the frame and doesn't add to the picture, like the Applause single cover and the 1989 album cover did it right. In this case it's just making things more squashed and what's inside the frame already isn't great so it's just concentrating that :air:

This wasn't a LP though, this was an EP.

EP is considered an album.

They said :

yaaas she's so beautiful can't wait for the album

ps. she has a car on her every album cover

When she's only had cars in the covers of her LPs.

I linked an image of one of her albums that does not have a car in it.

Pay attention to what you read.

It's so nice to see artists personally designing their own covers and using photoshop themselves:awkney:

Well, it's a big improvement from the Honeymoon album cover to me, so I like it. :hor:

Now let's hope that the songs on Lust for Life are also better than the ones on Honeymoon. It pains me to say that Honeymoon is the only Lana album I dislike heavily and it's the only one missing from my music collection.

It looks too much like her other covers - especially the aestetics of Honeymoon. Still great, love that she's smiling.

I'm gonna save my entire opinion til the actual entire album is out first.

I do wanna mention that she's wearing the outfit she did for love, same truck too, and the same landscape (greenery, fields blue skies). It's real road trip, but it just seems off as to how she looks as if she were copy pasted onto it.

Regardless, I'm thinking she'll go through the whole moon phases in terms of album presale and other album/era snippets. :excited2:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.
