Whenever I watch a new performance, I'm always hypersensitive about her being out of breath or her usage of backing track. Back in 2009-2011, especially since the release of Bad Romance, I was always annoyed by the backing track and thought she was barely audible. And when I was able to hear her, I got annoyed that she didn't sound like the studio version. Recently I revisited a lot of old footage (lots of Monster Ball videos) and as it turns out most of her vocals were great, and the backing track wasn't bad at all . I just loosened up a lot. I never was a fan of Aura but now I like it a lot. It's different and much different than the other pop girls have done.
