I feel like she could pull off this hair if she would only get a better stylist or start making better wardrobe choices. When you get a haircut like that you kind of have to style yourself around it. Gwen Stefani had a pixie in the 90s and it was super cute on her, it also helped that she had trendy, ~alternative personal style already. She could also go full Godard ingenue and start wearing feminine clothing with more modern cuts (simple shifts, heightened hemlines, sleek outlines etc.) - Pam Anderson did this and looked amazing and it took a good 20 years off of her. She did talk recently about how entering her 30's is such an empowering time but maybe its caused her to have an identity crisis and wonder how she should style herself now she's older? I just can't figure out why she'd want to make herself look like this after a career's worth of trying to look young and hot. I mean, the reason a lot of women don't want to cut their hair super short is because they fear people will think they're a lesbian. I commonly cite that as the primary reason why Jessie J's career went south after she shaved her head. If young people are buying your music and these young people have a distinct link between short hair and lesbianism and the connotations that go with that, they can deem you weird and un-cool. It's superficial, but it's just how it works. Good lord! It's like a Gaga fan wrote that pretending to be a Katy fan! Maybe it's as simple as she got sick of her usual look and felt it was becoming stale? Cheryl Cole and Carrie Underwood kind of have the same pageant queen look going on for over a decade now, and while it's a pretty look, it's not exactly hip or exciting. 9 hours ago, ZiggyZiggs said: Am I the only one who likes it? It is literally the best and the worst movie ever made at the same time. This and Teen Witch. God I would have loved to be a teenager in the 80's. Everything about that era was so gay, yet it was disguised as cute straight girl movies and then Madonna's golden era for music.
