Wait,

"After they graduate, students who receive the scholarship must live and work in New York for the same number of years they received funding. If they leave the state, their scholarship will be converted into a loan. This requirement was not included in the governor’s initial proposal."

It makes sense they will make you work in the state since they are literally paying for you but this is an inconvenience if you were planning to move.

There's a similar requirement where I'm from except it's from individual companies/government sectors. I feel like it's a good way to give back.

E.g. if I was sponsored by Ministry of Education then I have to work with them for 4 years. I personally like this idea though I understand the inconvenience, but in our case it's helpful since finding a job is difficult nowadays. This 100% guarantees employment unless you mess up real bad (this NY one though doesn't do the same unfortunatley).

Get wait to see the future to higher education after this!

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

You also have the lowest unemployment rates for graduates in the UK - coincidence much?

What's the catch tbh

You have to be living in the state of New York. For every year that you get free tuition, you need to stay in the state of New York to pay back your free tuition year. That's it. Better hop on this offer, as who knows if it will last for years or not. Either way, it's a good deal right now for NY residents!

You are in high school, you don't pay taxes. Where are you going to go to college? The fact that CUNY and SUNY options are already moderately priced are "your" tax dollars at work.

Do you go to a public or private high school?

No I pay taxes. I am not in high school, I run a business.

So, you are a twenty year old running a business? You were in school last year. Did you drop out of college?

I don't like to give personal information away but I did go for business, graduated, and took many business classes in high school, but that was years ago. I run a pretty successful business in the state.

Um...you were asking what quote to put in your yearbook and talking about your school day two years ago. You were talking about your social studies teacher and homework in school just six months ago. Your comments are very inconsistent.

I never talked about a year book. I don't know about the SS teacher thing, I don't remember that, and I did take an SS class in college. And of course you have HW in college.

Yes, you wanted a quote for your yearbook. That was less than two years ago. Then you discussed your English teacher, Social studies teacher and homework in September and October of this past fall. Did you graduate college in eighteen months? Lol  Most people wouldn't refer to college level history classes as " Social Studies"? :)
