Not that I'm a fan of her, but unlike some other female rappers who will remain unnamed (:giggle:) she put her money where her mouth is and has helped LGBT fans out, financially, when they were hurt. She noticed that most of her fans are LGBT, so why not cater to them? That's the same concept Gaga had when she noticed a lot of her fans were gay and decided to openly fight for LGBT rights.

As for her music and style of rap, that's all subjective and a different topic on its own.

Not exactly. Gaga actually have gay friends, that she became famous, she know she have pedestal and mostly fight for them and the gay fans are just a blessings. SO don't credits ourselves too much about all the steps that Gaga took thus far. Also, your comment exactly proved my point that most of y'all gyrating to her mainly because she present herself as an ally, which I am sure, none of fcks will be given if she never do that and keep releasing these crass songs. All the praises and credits y'all given to her are not genuine, it's not about her talent, or ever was, one misstep, and y'all will start to disown her, I am sure of it lmao

I'm sorry you're so upset about this and couldn't see the very first and last thing I mentioned in my response :laughga: I just said I'm not a fan of her and that music taste is subjective. I don't care for crass dirty rap so by all means go off on how you feel about her music  if you're that upset

Do you know if CupcaKke had any gay friends prior to having internet fame? I didn't know you were that aware of her personal life

Gaga mentioned early on in her career that her gay fans influenced her artistry and her individuality; it's not shocking to think that her adoration for the LGBT community influenced her actions and political activity. All I was saying is that they share a similar stance in terms of supporting their gay fans unlike another female rapper who used gay culture, slang and fashion to capitalize off of her large gay fan base and then go back and ignore their times of need. I'm not saying they're the same at all, just that they were perceptive of their fan base and decided to give back to them.

I love some rap artists but really can't get into her music tbh. All the songs I've heard are about sex and stuff that will be starred if I type it here...

She's doesn't take herself too seriously, she had a hard life, became successful and is giving money to needy fans, she's funny, great personnality. I don't care about her music but it's probably better if she doesn't have a record label, they would take most of her money and she wouldn't be able to release music as often and the way she wants

She's a genuinely nice person and makes dirty/LGBT raps. Why wouldn't we all stan her.

President Biden

Lipgloss by Charli features her and it's such a bop. The rest of her music is just amazing. She does it all on her own and has stayed away from labels that want to control her. She's doing it all for the art and it's amazing. I hope she finds a Blake that will work to popularize her stuff yet let her continue want she's doing now. Lipgloss is gonna be a hit for sure

I mean, Cupcakke is just so amazing. She's a great person both on and offline. She has proven that she is more than just a meme because she actually has talent. She could've had her six seconds of fame, but she didn't. She has a devoted and growing following, and it is so inspiring to see her grow alongside us

It takes me back to when I first was stanning for Gaga. She was just some popgirl who could've been a one hit wonder, but she wasn't because she proved herself time and time and again since Just Dance that she is a skilled and talented musician. Cupcakke may not be able to play an instrument or sing that well, but she is an incredible lyricist. She makes awesome dirty music with equally compelling serious music, and not many rappers can do that. One song she's bringing to light issues of colorism, the next she goes on about giving a **** CPR, and she closes it all off with an insightful look into her life and struggles all throughout her works, with her Reality series being the seminal pieces to her albums which include them

On top of that, she has a strong following of the gays, stans, and multiple Twitter communities. She may have been slightly set back because of the recent album drama that she's been having to deal with this past week, but she makes up for it in grace, humility, tea, and comedy. She deserves a hit, and if she can manage one while being an independent artist, which many people often ignore in that she's doing most of everything by herself and with her own resources, that will just go to show that talent can win without a record label and with an amazing attitude and personality

This is so true. Her independence reminds me of Macklemore who's anther underrated gay icon

Because she's a nice, amazing, person with a backstory that some of us can relate to. She doesn't give a crap out haters say about her and she spreads love.
