Such a legend in the music industry, especially in the Latin genre during the 90s. As many of you know, her life was sadly cut short by her fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar, who still remains as one of the most hated people of all time in the music world. () Selena was on the verge of becoming a crossover sensation with her English album, Dreaming Of You, which became a reality only after her shocking murder. She already had massive success in Latin America, with most people referring to her as the "Queen Of Tejano" and the "Mexican Madonna". As of 2012, Selena has sold over 60 million albums worldwide. Her impact was not only shown through her music, but also in fashion, cosmetics, philanthropy, and more. She brought something to the table that most of the industry was lacking: confidence. She continues to inspire the artists of today in unimaginable ways. She will always be remembered as an innovator and an icon in the music industry. Selena Quintanilla was and still is THAT artist.
