Hexxx 2,244
So I've been listening to gaga's discography and one thing I've noticed is that gaga seems to Jump from one genre of pop to another, but one genre that she revisits again is Country. There's You And I and then there's her Rock n roll songs like Brown Eyes and Speechless. Even went on to make a country version of BTW. We know Gaga performs with Metal and Rock bands during special events and award shows, but why hasn't she she made a metal/Rock n roll record, instead she releases an album full of You and Is' mixed with folk and she's been wearing this country girl persona throughout the era. Not to mention the many times she's been taking selfies with herself on barns and horseback riding riding the past few years. Do you think Gaga is more comfortable with country/folk music than metal/rock n roll? DeanWinchester 41,390
I really wouldn't call Speechless and Brown Eyes Rock though. But if anyone can convince me otherwise I'm all ears Flyin' like a 1000 Doves
Easy 5,298
She makes hybrids of pop music. i think the sound she visits always depends on her collaborators and mind state. She wrote Yoü and I because Luc Carl is from Nebraska and she wrote MR because she was writing with Hilary Lindsay.

Twitter 14
Gaga should have her own genre tbh! She always manage to throw mulitple genres into one song from each album.

Dirtyicecreamz 1,716
I think she is maybe more country at heart! but I sense a difference in the "You and I" country vs the "country" on Joanne which sounds a little stereotypical in some songs (...ayo) Stop the music, Start the drama.
