I don't know how you could care about his name being damaged when his actions were so harmful towards Gaga. To me, he still remains a greedy bastard. And, please, do not tell me that he created Gaga: he definitely helped her to be this big, but he did not create her. PUKKIE 457 Posted April 5, 2017 Share Posted April 5, 2017 lemme say this, ARTPOP was not a Good idea at all.. trully...it was just not. and Troy knew that. if Gaga has released a double disc mabye... like make ARTPOP a second disc of a delux version of a proper album , it wud have been so much fun and turn out great. Her rebellion ruined her career. who would have thought that a global tsunami of a star that was Lady Gaga could scrape so badly... selling 500k after almost a yr of releasing an album,after countless discounts etc etc...having singles drop off the BB200 in literally weeks, my God she used to be the Beyonce of the industry literally before ARTPOP. it all went downhill... from the most worshipped pop star, who at one point everyone said she has $ hands, everything she put her name on turns to gold, to barely scrapping by...falling on the charts, awards, and dont come here mentioning all her other things she has accomplished after ARTPOP cos they were clearly an attempt to save her career from bad decisions that ruined it in the first place, other pop starts do thse other things and STILL skay in their music, which they were famous for to begin with....etc. the decay is real... and it pains me to see what she has become. There was even a course at the University of Stockholm on Lady Gaga and marketing at the time. Memoriiiies from the corners of my miiiind... But she's had management problems during BTW as well. I think Gaga must be difficult to work with too, especially as she became more seasoned (TEOG fiasco, managing ARTPOP alone), but he really clocked out during ARTPOP and before that, since her popularity had diminished. And her popularity downfall was because of mismanaging during the BTW era and her hip breaking (not touring US really made her lose presence in the biggest music industry). She let's her feelings guide her in this tough industry which made her feel depressed, angry, and betrayed in a lot of times. Yes it sucks when an artist wants control of their own art and career, and to expand their horizons.
