She's been very polarizing in her creation process. You can tell she loves Joanne and the sound a lot, but you can also tell she loves her old stuff too (as seen at the Super Bowl). She even made the point to say something about realizing she's a pop star or whatever after the show, thus hyping herself and going all in. Maybe it will be a successful mix between the two, allowing fans from both sides to coexist happily and successfully. So as for a genre, maybe pop dance rock or something? Idk
