But manufacturing id say fled to Mexico mostly. We havent really had a lot manufacturing come here from the US perhaps because of Ontarios high electricity bills

 

Our growth in manufacturing lately has been from existing plants not really from new plants moving here.

 

Most types of businesses find the low tax is a good competitive edge to open in Canada but any business that uses a lot of electricity diesnt find it worth it. Certainly not in Ontario

Apparently he just started working on Tax now, that may be a hassle to pass, so I don't know if Infrastructure is coming soon even though some top Republicans like Newt Gingrich are telling him to start with Infrastructure before tax cuts.

Most likely the cost of moving and labor expenses offset the tax benefits that Canada offers right now.  Mexico however has lower taxes and 1/5 the labor costs than the US so moving costs are off set by operating savings.   

Hopefully this is one area that Trump and the Pub's can correct for the US since the Lib's don't seem to see that the extra revenue from increased Corporate taxes is short lived if the said corp's move their revenue producing facilities out of the US.

That'll definitely be a hassle to pass, the Dems will be very Against high tax cuts for the rich and if history repeats itself, the ultra conservatives and moderate conservatives may be unable to agree. With such a slim majority in the senate, the GOP may find it very hard to pass tax reform.

Infrastructure on the other hand would probably get democrat support if done in a reasonable fashion. That could offset the hard right not supporting it.

I have no idea why he isnt focusing on Infrastructure right now, according to Sean Spicer and Kellyanne they are focusing on Tax reform which will be so hard to pass especially when you have Wall Street and Goldman Sachs people working on it. It always amazes me how he doesn't listen to experienced economists and politicians that tell him to do Infrastructure. He is such a mess right now

What he should do is get Infrastructure done immediately with bipartisan support, let that build the economy and increase jobs to increase revenue and then do tax cuts. It doesnt make sense for him to do tax cuts now when it will most likely not pass and then he will go on a twitter rant and embarrass our country again. I wonder what goes through his mind sometimes, he has the Senate and House and somehow manages to screw it up.

I totally agree, it's obscene how he can't listen to people with a brain and do the obvious good choice. Infrastructure spending would create millions of jobs, make America run better and help the economy. After the positive effects of those positives, his approval rating would likely go up and he'd have some political capital for tax reform. But instead he's gonna try tax reform first with no political capital whatsoever and if he fails (and he likely will), then his second legislative fight will be have been a failure, hurting him further after his first big fight failed. 

Ya know, I hate Trumps right wing politics but I can't stand his stupidity even more. The man is so stupid and incompetent it makes me really question how America elected him. I know America is nuts but wow.

Well, most likely Tax Reform is first. Because changing the Tax system will alter the gov. revenue, so they don't know how much they have to spend on infrastructure.  But yeah, roads, electric supply/distribution, fuel, pipelines, police, firefighters, all need some love and then some.  I agree.
