I would love for Pour It Up to be the next major single and not just an urban single. It would slay tbqh :nails: But I don't think that it will happen because they've already released the large remix for it, etc.

Rant: I hate the fact that just because Rih has been releasing albums every year for quite some time that people take that and use that against her. With the exception of a few tracks here and there, she successfully comes back stronger than ever each year with a completely different revamped theme and look. And it's not like her music is complete bubblegum pop music that is completely generic. It's not like she uses Dr. Luke for all her major productions (aside from WHYB, we see how well You Da One went). She uses different producers and switches it up.

I very much enjoy her discography and I don't think she gets enough credit in this department. And no, she doesn't write all of her songs. Nor did she ever claim too. I don't see everyone going after Bey, and instead continually praising her as Queen B :nails:

it has this super lame dubstep part, and 2013 is all about trap so it would sound dated. I'd rather hear Right Now over that tbh

jump sounds like a hit though, its fun. its not dated just because it has elements of dubstep. right now is probably the wackest most predictable single choice possible. its really really really weak club filler.

people always hate on beyonce. she has just as many haters as she has praisers lol is that a word?

plus people have less ammo to hate on beyonce because she doesn't let her private life get used against her. whereas rihanna does. theres pros and cons to both of them

I agree that TTT feels rushed. It doesn't feel like a whole. It feels like some songs put together, there's no theme to it imo.

Just fully listened to the remix of PIU. And so far, I'm perfectly fine with it. If anything, hope this would further push it to become a worldwide single. And it seems it would be since it's being scheduled to be released as a single in the UK by April.  :excited2:

There's no one to call 'Cause I'm just playing games with them all
The more I swear I'm happy The more that I'm feeling alone

'Cause I spend every hour just going through the motions
I can't even get the emotions to come out
Dry as a bone but I just wanna shout

I don't know where to go
I don't know what to feel
I don't know how to cry
I don't know why

so what now

I agree.  It would be one thing if she released a crap album every year, but she comes back with a new and cohesive sound.  And it's not just her singles that are great.  Yes, there are occasionally fillers here and there, but most of the songs are great.  Farewell, What Now, Skin, and Photographs stand out as exceptional album tracks that most people don't know about.  She's really an under rated album artist.

You forgot Cold Case Love, that's her best non single album song ever imo.
