JudasIsAHolyFoo 3,278
http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-39444025 [If you are not caught up to at least series 8 of the show the following explanation below could reveal potential spoilers] Doctor Who series 10 is about to premier on BBC One, BBC America, and Space channel, and various others around the world, and LGBT community fans can be excited for the first openly gay companion Bill Potts, which played by Peral Mackie, is joining The Doctor and Nardole in the TARDIS. Her 2nd line will reveal her sexuality to Doctor Who fans. Though this is the first time that theyre opening coming out to admit a companions sexuality like this, previous companion Clara Oswald played by Jenna Coleman was speculated to be Bisexual as she had stated to have had a fling with Jane Austen. The next big step for the show in my opinion would to be to cast a female Doctor. As much as people do not want that, if they get the right person for the role, then it would work, just like the Master becoming a female named Missy.
