I mean I'm always here for a good praise but "the vocalist era" comes back every time Adele releases something :awkney:

Gaga is extremely good vocally especially in ballads like MR but it's not like MR is that big of a hit to say that "gaga is bringing back the vocalist era"

but meh, promo is promo and praise is praise :staymad:

MR has the potencial of becoming an anthem in the sense that it's never gonna age. It's a classic ballad with powerful poetic lyrics that are timeless. Wether you listen to it today or in five years it's gonna sound like it could have been released a minute ago. It's not generic and it's not basic but it speaks to a wide demographic. It's like listening to Xtina's Fighter or Mariah's Hero. It never gets old.

i think u freaky but you don't have a hit

I don't agree with the article. Adele brought back the Vocalist Era.

I think Adele is the exception to the rule.

When Adele blew up in 2011 with her vocal songs...no vocal songs became big during or after it. The dancey EDM songs continued to reign. Therefore she wasn't responsible for bringing anything back. 2011 was 6 years ago, so Adele can't take responsibility for Million Reasons.

Has Million Reasons been the influence of other vocal songs? not yet, but that's exactly what this article is asking, will she bring it back?

About time they recognize her "powerhouse vocals" and nice to read these good comments from industry people. As for impact, we'll see but let's just say that Adele was always considered as one of a kind, an exception, with no real impact on the rest of the music scene. Perhaps Gaga will influence the music trends again. In any case, I think at least one Grammy is on lock for 2018.

Hello? Love On The Brain? Dangerous Woman? And I'm just naming a few of her peers, there is a whole new level of "vocalist" music in the indie/less known artists scene. What is this?  Powerful vocals have always been present in the music industry.

If they're talking about her vocal evolution, they're still wrong, Speechless? You and I? EOG? MTN? CTC?

But the song is not called "Reasons" :saladga: it makes no sense whatsoever, why so they insist on doing it?

I don't agree with the article. Adele brought back the Vocalist Era.

However, Gaga has always been a revolutionary in the music industry. Sometimes she flops and gets unrecognized, but even then you can see other artists catching the influence. She runs parallel with the music industry (and only sometimes they touch, the successful eras). Few artists do it. Some run behind the music industry, trying to catch up, others on the same road, doing exactly what the business tells them, and some try to recreate the industry and change it.

"I think we are entering a new era of traditional ballads and big vocals."

It's amazing to see Gaga recognized more and more for being the artist we always knew she was

Just skip the nomination, just a waste of time cause she'll get that Grammy.
