Coven was great as well because I Love this witchcraft stuff. Gaga as the countess in hotel was one of the best roles of all seasons!! Evan Peters as Tate in Murder House was bae. I thought freakshow wasn't that creepy, only twisty the clown was horrifying haha. And the first few episodes of Roanoke were amazing but then I got disappointed after episode 5 or 6. AHS is my favourite tv show and I love every season in its own way because I love all of the themes and I adore exploring new characters and stories each season. Despite this AHS has its flaws and, especially in their latest seasons, it has become so clear (Roanoke probably had the most problems but I still think it worked) so my list would be (from good to bad or just worse) - Asylum - Murder House - Freashow - Hotel - Coven - Roanoke (I usually pick my favourite season based off the setting, the atmosphere and the characters. Asylum gets to be on the top because it was also very scary for me - probably the only season that really made me uncomfortable at night) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Asylum and MH are staples, to me. Hotel felt like a staple via its narrative and with enough camp and disgust at the same time, which kept it haunting & memorable. Freak Show and Coven were gorgeous but fell flat (Twisty was awesome and the southern gothic vibe to Coven was great). Roanoke seemed so promising with its darkness and violence and then had me once it got stupid with all the various reality stuff & and made me not care for the characters...Gaga had the most interesting ark in that season, IMHO.
