The vocals are mesmerizing, the instrumentation is on point, I don't see why people make it out to be that bad. @Lona Delery: 6 It's cute. Nothing special but not bad either, especially considering it's a cover. The instrumental is really good, I love it. This is light and pretty and the perfect companion to any nighttime routine. My favorite is the longing in Lana's voice. @Sure Joanne: 10 Although Blue Velvet is a cover it just sounds so Lana it's hard not to forget that she didn't write the song. I love that she took an older song and gave it a place on this stunning track list. It's such a mesmerizing song, the vocals are absolutely on point, the lyrics are also clever and well thought out, this song has ZERO flaws, haters will seethe. Lona delery: 8 Yayo itself is a great song, but the version on her first album Lizzy Grant aka Lana Del Ray is superior. It still has an angelic feel to it and I love this song very much. Halcyonpop: 7 This would be better if it weren't so long. Evan peters: 3 really couldn't decide if i should rate this as a three or a seven. on one hand, it's a fav song by lana. on the other, it's a boring cover of her own creation that sounds stripped of any personality it once had on AKA. Sure joanne: 8 I remember how happy I was to see Lana put one of her older songs on the album but although Yayo is a great song on its own it just feels weak in comparison to the rest.
