After she came off the biggest era, tfm, of the decade. It's the only reason why that was a hit. :rip: Let's be real, if anyone else put that out at that time, it would have flopped

PS I love that whole album.

I agree with you, TFM would have flopped for anyone else. It was a huge risk. Many artists don't take risks. There are about two songs on that album that I think are the worst in her entire discography. Her first album and EP was hugely successful, but BTW was when she cemented herself as an icon. No one else could have dared do that with that album.

I think y'all should be focused more on the fact that it's #1 with a 30% lead in Australia rather than the fact that it lost 10% in one update. :lolly:

Yeah I mean usually when she releases a single here lately, it gets played once, the radio hosts openly drag it, then it disappears off the face of the Earth. :rip:

Do you feel him sir?

It would be easy to hate on Gaga for going the uninspired and, dare I say it, reductive route, but there’s something almost refreshingly unpretentious (!) about Lady Gaga going “**** it” and dropping an essentially anonymous, Chainsmokers/Kygo-biting bop that could have just as easily been recorded by Selena Gomez.

bingo.

Heat Radio in the UK played it about 20 minutes ago. They have nowhere near the listeners as Kiss FM, Capital or Radio 1, but it's great they're playing it!

As long as it can stay in the top 5 in Canada/US/UK and AUS we have nothing to worry about
