Is it selfish that I only care bout her sales in the US, Canada and UK? Every other market is irrelevant to me. As long as she smashes in the US, CA and UK I'm good lol.

People have streamed The Cure in Brazil (200M of inhabitants) on Spotify as much as people in the US (320M) did. Same with Sweden (9,5M) and Australia (23M). The Anglosphere is not the only part of the world that matters. There are 700 million of Mainland Europeans and 600 millions of Latin Americans. Only 550M in the six Anglosaxon countries. +60% of the streams TC, which is a song in English, currently has on Spotify, come from non-English-speaking countries.

We know no one buys music in mainland Europe and Latin America because people use Youtube and Spotify (and because people spend more money on music by local acts), but Gaga can't have a successful tour if she just go to the US, Canada and the UK. If a song is just a hit in the Anglosphere, it's not a worldwide hit. And I want a worldwide hit, so I care. :)
