If she wanted a hit, then who did she make a folky-pop/country pop album instead of a Pop album full of RedOne bops?

But she is always trying to prove something for the (General Public), and does nothing for her fans.. I think sound-wise she went into this direction since we know the album is about her family, friends and about herself. Pure Pop wouldn't fit to the lyrics I guess, that's the reason why she chose to produce an album with country/folk/rock influences to make it more authentic. Maybe the next album is more about what her fans want?! With Gaga we never know what will come next!

Ok, that's fair, but you said Gaga should delete her Vevo account because her views are tragic (and they're tragic, but that's not the point). Anyway, I don't wanna talk about stupid things I can't control. Peace. Gypsy Life 118,907
Everybody's got to love each other. Stop throwin stones at your sisters and your brothers. Man it wasn't that long ago we were all living in the jungle. So why do we gotta, put each other down, when there's more than enough love to g g go around? nattuggla 21,799
Gaga didn't turn her back on her fans and she knows exactly what they want. She released the music video for John Wayne which resembles a lot of Gaga's earlier work. Her SB-setlist consisted majorly of her biggest Pop-Hits. She almost didn't include anything from Joanne even though on the album there are a few songs which would have fit perfectly to the Superbowl. I am sure Pop-Ga will come back somehow! Denys 848
I'll say this for the final time! So listen, gaga did not exhaust all the singles from each era and that was a huge mistake... They moved on too fast. Joanne is doing good, cmon guys we are floating in the same ship as anti and the big releases and we don't even have half their streams. call me delusional but gaga is doing just fine and has earned respect from all corners of the industry... Can't say the same for some people

BadKids 7
Gaga performing at Oscars, Superbowl, Coachella, etc. doesn't suddenly make her relevant. The relevancy of popstars is determined with their consistency in making hits and Gaga has failed here big time. As I said, she hasn't had a huge global song since 2011. She has declined in every way possible. Bruno Mars is also talented (your favorite Word) yet he is consistently selling albums, singles, getting hits and is catching up to Gaga in touring department and might even outdo her. Heck, even Katy is drawing closer to Gaga's touring numbers. The Chainsmokers you detest so much are destroying Gaga in streaming, are getting bigger hits than Gaga (Closer is bigger than Gaga's last number 1) and will end up with more top 10 hits than her in this decade. You can scream talent and payola, but that won't fix Gaga's broken career. And yes, don't expect ASIB to be some career-defining smash. You expected the same for Joanne and that didn't happen, sorry. Lol if u have ears u will understand that those songs especially sorry follows radio trends...
