Katy slaying in top 20 for weeks while Gaga is at the brink od leaving Hot 100. What's new? I guess Gaga could ask Katy for a collab for some longevity on charts. Kats posing as Monsters on this site must be rejoicing secretly.

Sorry, spending 19 weeks in the lower parts of the Hot 100 isn't exactly amazing. CTTR will last much longer on the chartsn that's what counts. Will MR make it to the Year-End lists? With its poor airplay and streams, I don't think so. Actually, Gaga hasn't had a top 10 on the Year-End List since Bad Romance whereas Dark Horse slayed in 2014. Katy just keeps winning, sorry.

We will never escape the haters, even when Gaga has the most sold album and song of the year by a woman she is a flop. we will never win

Her label needs to start investing in things that actually matter, she could easily cancel tons of performances, the budget for any single will be bigger, they should invest in Spotify, when you're featured on major playlists you have hit in your hands, even Perfect Illusion had the chances for a top 5 debut, but they always f*c* up everything.

Anyone expecting any Joanne single to do anything WW now will be disappointed, she already burned that bridge with PI (hopefully they give her another chance with LG6 :crossed:). You really need to think about what will do good in the Anglo countries (aka US and Canada and maybe a tiny bit in Australia and the UK). Also, what will get support on HAC/AC (which she needs to gain support from as she gets older). So take this as you will...

She could easily have a WW hit even with the 3rd single if Interscope plays the right cards.

Is there not a site for Katy Perry fans or is it as stale and boring as Katy's music that you feel the need to come onto GagaDaily to have fun?

not with the way the music industry works in small countries. Unless you have a streaming hit (which Gaga won't get with any song on Joanne, don't kid yourself), you are completely at the mercy of radio who are obviously not supporting her WW.

Little do iTunes positions matter. Streaming and radio airplay matter more for the Hot 100. Streaming is future and Gaga' future doesn't look bright with pure sales dying and streaming taking over. She hasn't had a huge global hit o a streaming hit since 2011 and by the time she releases her new album it will be almost a decade without those features. Sadly, she might be done.

I was exactly talking about streaming, and you can see my post above, instead of tons of performances, and travelling, Interscope needs to focus & invest in Spotify. When you're featured on major playlists, and home pages in each country, for a longer period (1-2) months, you already have a streaming hit, when you have high streaming numbers, radio will pick it up, in terms of sales Gaga is still a huge force.

Props to Gaga & Million Reasons honestly, she's one of the few artist that wasn't featured on major playlist and she will still manage to hit 100M streams this month. :applause:
