I honestly don't get it why are you guys obsessed with the line 'touch myself to pass the time' in DIC, and why do you think it's such a big deal?

It's not like Gaga's demographic is 7-11 year olds, even though today I wouldn't be surprised if they sang something like that.

There is literally so many sexual songs out there, maybe not THAT direct, but I still think that the tropical vibe, the drums, Gaga's sexy voice is what makes the song, NOT that single line.

They just try to discredit DIC in any possible way, because they want other song to be a single. And I guess most of them are from US. Pepole from non-english countries don't care about lyrics, if song is catchy. And ok, they have thier opinions. But they also say radio won't play it after MR. I mean, MR was an average hit in only a few countries (USA, Italy, Brazil, Canada)? and total ;error404 not found' in the rest of the world, so saying radio won't play it is even worse argument, cause in other countries radio haven't played MR at all. And in terms of streaming I would rather have a single with for example 1,5m streams daily from the whole world than only in the USA/Canada with 400-500k daily.
Some says that CTTR is doing bad. But it's actually doing quite good in the USA and very good outside. I just thinks those people think they are the most important market and the rest of the world doesn't matter at all, and they're wrong :trollga:

In the chart world, people only care about the US. Sorry for the blunt reality.

Yes, many were saying it flopped, but it's not my point. My point is that even if something is doing a little worse in the USA, that doesn't mean it can't do good in other countries.

It sold 140k in its first 6hours in the USA already tho. It will debut at #1 digital songs no matter what, probably even at #1 on the Hot 100, even if it drops off the chart completely after 72 hours. :air:

Tell it to for example to those latin songs which are popular like crazy, and not necessary in the US.

I think he might pull through with 300k+ sales. His lead is still ridiculous even if he got his first light red. Pretty sure he's gonna do 30-45M+ streams as well.
