nnnn Is he crazy enough to do it? :udidnt:

Im kind of worried this will just make the GOP entirely **** up the bill in order to get it passed and we'll still be left with something worse than the ACA in every way

I have a feeling ObamaCare is more appealing to everybody on both sides of the aisle than this awful TrumpCare mess.

I think this vote will truly prove whether or not congress and the Senate are sheep who vote blindly for anything their party tells them to. or if they vote with a conscience with their constituents in mind.

I love your optimism, but the majority of the currently elected Republicans vote party over country consistently. If anything, I feel its been worse since Trump. They generally all vote as a hivemind and shame anyone who votes against, sometimes threatening to help them get unseated or not help them get re-elected :smh: (Thanks Citizens United :poot: ) Meanwhile, the democrats are unfortunately more principled and are not always 100% united behind efforts, which makes it sometimes almost impossible to pass things since they hold a majority in neither houses at the moment :ladyhaha:

You're very right, though I do think that there are a LOT of Pubes who are very unhappy with this bill and won't pass it, and i can't imagine they appreciate essentially being extorted either.

I was hoping it was going to say "Pass AHCA Or I'll Leave Office"

I think that this ultimatum is the closest thing we'll get to Trump admitting that he doesn't know what he's doing.

He doesn't have leverage here. This is the dumbest lie he's told yet. The House and Senate can come up with a million health bills and keep amending them until they come up with something the republicans can agree on. You're telling me you're going to veto a bill that is better just because they voted no on this garbage? Call his bluff, congress.

Oh there are. This bill is that bad. To be clear though, its not like 100% of Repubs. that vote for lots of controversial things actually like or support those bills. They are just pressured into voting for them. Do you honestly believe that 50 Republicans overwhelmingly supported Betsy DeVos? Most of them were completely silent about her unless asked directly and they couldn't avoid it, they just voted under their breath and got back on to business.

It's one thing to like, put earplugs in and just pretend your constituents aren't pissed off at you, but its another to have them charging down your doors because this "conservative" healthcare bill is actually going to hurt not just black people and women, but EVERYONE. Especially old people, who are the reason you win elections :ladyhaha:

Idk, Trump is honestly kind of stupid and a loose cannon. That's the only reason I would believe this :laughga:

Very true, though I do think that when it comes to health care and peoples lives that they have a bit more of a conscience. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here, but there's a reason there hasn't been a vote yet and it's because Republican's aren't happy.... so my fingers are crossed that they kill this HORRIBLE bill.
