People do eat dogs and cats you know.

I do know, but there was a petition against the dog eating festival that garnered millions of signatures, fatcat is an American and it is completely unacceptable to eat dogs in the states, that is why I asked him.

Sure, I'd be obliged to help.
Most of the non-vegetarians have this misconception that one can't get protein from plants. You can easily get protein from green leafy vegetables, broccoli, nuts, seeds, beens, etc plus other nutrients that are essential for a balanced diet. You need not take any extra supplements.

It's okay. I was raised an ovi-lacto-vegetarian, so it was hard for me to leave eggs:laughga:, but eventually I was able to give up on them. Now I'm working on leaving milk and its products.
You can't become a vegan overnight. Take your time. I'd advise you to first become a vegetarian. Then you can slowly start transitioning towards veganism
Hope I could help. :unicorn:
