I stopped after the boiling tank it's so incredibly disturbing. RAMROD 117,030 Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Not affecting big for me tbh, I have chopped, gutted, skin, scaling, and plucking feathers of fish, chicken and venison by my own for meals. My Dad's parents were a farmer from Kansas City, they don't buy meat, they grow them and eat it. Whenever dad take us to visit them when I was younger, my uncle and grandpa make sure they taught me how to slit chicken throat, how to cut a cattle, how to milk a cow as I was considered to be old enough to deal with knife. As I love to cook, I thought that was valuable lessons. I learned how to check and pick quality meat when I am doing my grocery now. When I was living in South East Asia, I have witnessed cattle being slaughtered for blood sacrifice or something during one of Muslim festivities called Eidl Adha. Not really, there are reasons many countries have tried to implement animal welfare laws, so that meat consumption can continue whilst animals live a comfortable life and their deaths are made considerably less painful and traumatising. Idk if you know the movie "Unsert Täglich Brot", there they show the already cruel day to day life of the animals as well as the workers in those slaughterhouses and it's already bad enough without the animals being mistreated that way. But what I saw in the video is disgusting and absolutely unnecessary. This is just animal abuse for the sake of the worker's entertainment and nothing else. I know what I am talking about since I regularly work on a small farm on the countryside. And yes, I do know that mass animal husbandry is absolutely necessary to maintain the economy and to feed everybody.
