From popdirt: Starts with a string into as Britney declares regrets about ‘someone’. Then a great rockish chorus breaks out. ‘its only a shadow, leaving too soon’. Well we can all guess who this is about. Its a lovely song. The beats sway and Britney shows her artistic side with this one. Really good to sing along to! A good ‘uber ballad’ that is still original and this one is definitely an instant classic. Probably going to be a big fan favorite. This should have been the first single as originally rumored.

From wikipedia: The Matrix commented that after they presented songs to Spears, she tailored them to suit herself, especially the lyrics. Christy said, "... she really knows what she wants. She knows if she's trying something on that doesn't fit right for her. She's like, 'No, that's not me.' She's not one to strap on some sort of fake image." Christy also claimed to be impressed with Spears's vocal ability during the recording of "Shadow".

From @MonsterOfSpain The first ballad on the album, Britney's sweet but powerful voice perfectly combines with the mysterious instrumental. Great track

I love this song and love this performance, she achieved to make a ballad look appealing visually speaking.

"Hollow" was said to have been recorded during the In The Zone era.  Not much is known about this track but it sounds pretty good to me!

"Get It" is also assumed to have been recorded during the In The Zone recording era.  According to wikipedia it supposedly leaked on Jan. 4, 2006 and was also known as:

Known alternatively as "Get It, Get It (Get It My Way)"

Known alternatively as "I Said"

Known alternatively as "Gotta Get It"

I know Britney's voice and that's not her in the 1st song.

I'm having some important exams this week but as soon Friday night or Saturday I'll listen again to the whole album and I'll try to make a comment for each song and I'll send you everything.

No, the video description says it's a demo. I know Britney's voice by heart, I can instantly recognize it.

I listened to lots of unreleased tracks and honestly, why are they not on albums. Some of them are better than album tracks :neyde:
