Zone-Vid Of The Day

From popdirtOpens with a bass line and drum beats as Britney breathily talks about the night before. She begins to sing/rap about what happened. The sound and all definitely sound like what she’s aiming for. Its like the music from the previous night echoes in her head as she recalls what happens. She’s also groaning as if she has a headache. Really cool song, quite catchy. Would be a good club release.

According to wikipediaEarly Mornin'" depicts Spears looking for men at a club in New York City. The song has a percolating beat and featured subdued vocals from Spears, who purrs and yawns through the track. The nightclub Show is referenced

Ruth Mitchell of BBC Online called "Early Mornin'" the best track of the album, but added, "Sadly, her attempts to prove her new-found maturity are what overwhelm and cloud all that is good about In The Zone."

Not finding any live performances for Early Mornin so how about a remix version instead :gaycat:

From @KingOfSpain The instrumental is everything. One of the catchiest I don't understand why it's the second less popular album track on Spotify.

From popdirtStarts with some Jamaican man shouting something. Britney begins to sing something hip-hopish and another great beat breaks out. This is a great dancehall song. Would be a great summer single and is definitely fun in the sun.

From wikipedia: The ninth track "The Hook Up" has a reggae feel and features Spears singing in a Jamaican Patois accent

From @MonsterOfSpain One of Britney's most underrated tracks ever, this is one of catchiest songs on the album, another work-out must

2nd Zone-Vid Of The Day

From popdirt: Opens with some bass and funky sounds as Britney breathily says something. She begins a sing/rap verse in a Janet Jackson manner. Then a verse starts. It sounds really in the left field of her usual stuff. Most of the lyrics are breathy. Not much singing. It almost has a Jamaican feel. It is a good driving song. Very mellow and relaxed number.

From wikipedia: "Showdown" has "bubbly" beats and its lyrics, about "fighting and making up with carnal relations", include the lines "I don’t really want to be a tease / But would you undo my zipper, please?" Rolling Stone classified the song a pop-dancehall.

From @Zazekina It happened exactly the same with this one and with I got that, the jamaican vibes when the beat changes sounds hot af.

I'll try to do this during the weekend :lolly: In The Zone was never really my fave, and that's why I don't listen to it often, but I know that there are major bops and excellent song overall on that album :lolly:
