Overall a good tv show. Love the issues it treated.

Ep 1-2 were amazing, then ep 3 till ep 8 was too slow and kind of boring to me idk... but then 9-10-11-12-13 were good!

So many unanswered questions though, i need season 2

I'm getting this a lot - people saying how graphic and distressing it is. I'm never normally one to be bothered by stuff like that but I've grown so attached to the character of Hannah over these past 12 episodes, and yeah, while she's flawed at times, I legit feel for her...so to actually see her do what she's gonna do...yikes. No idea how I'm gonna react :/

Anyway, I'm watching it tonight so I'll come back and post my thoughts

SPOILERS IN MY POST AND I CAN'T BOX THEM ON MOBILE SO SKIP MY POST IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM

I really liked the show. They done a lot of things right but a few things wrong.

The acting was actually pretty spot on but I feel like they fleshed out some parts that didn't need to be and turned a blind eye to parts that should have been. I think it's more important to see Hannah at darker moments than some random parts that didn't need explaining like Clay's relationship with his parents.

I feel like they should have made somethings more obvious or fleshed them out more. Justin's reactions are heavily due to the abuse he experienced as a child yet they never fully drew that line which kind of irks me. It feels like a huge missed oppurtunity when you think about how he freezes knowing his girlfriend was being raped and that he decides to hide it from her; it's a real dark path to go down but I feel like the show should have explored that more.

There's also a really interesting moment with Courtney when she says she won't come out because her dad's are gay. It felt like for a moment she was concerned about their reputation and maybe even the gay community's reputation far more than her's, another missed opportunity.

All in all, I loved the series and bawled through out the episode on Clay's tape. There's a few things that bug me (stated above) but I will be watching a second series when it comes.
