He was referring too different races and ethnicities. America is filled with people from different origins and backgrounds while in Sweden there ancestors were born there which raises the risk of diseases since the gene pool is not mixed and is pure.

I kept on quoting and posting because it didn't seem like you understood the point and just want to make him seem racist when it is basic biology what he was saying.

The "other species" comment was an unfortunate flub, which is why everyone in the studio uncomfortably laughed at him. If you listen to what he is actually saying, rather then trying to fit his words into your own narrative, he wasn't criticizing America's genetic diversity, just inarticulately mentioning it. He is a dolt, not a racist.

We live in a time when racists are more emboldened then they have been in decades, sharing an out of context clip from a 2009 Fox News broadcast - which was criticized at the time - is desperate and unnecessary.

I didn't say you were desperate. I said sharing this video was desperate, and I was referring to the person who dug up an almost decade old Fox News clip and shared it on twitter - not you.

You just took a man's words, robbed them of their context, and created a click-bait thread, which is no crime.

Just a quick correction: sickle cell is not common in Africa because of inbreeding, sickle cell is common in Africa because it is under positive selective pressure because heterozygosity for sickle hemoglobin confers malaria resistance. Africans as a people are the most genetically diverse of all races because they are the oldest living race of homo sapiens and have therefore had the longest amount of time for genetic divergence and they have also not undergone the same evolutionary bottlenecking that each subsequent race has undergone through migration. Probably there is still inbreeding there, but that is not why sickle cell is endemic there. Sickle cell is endemic wherever malaria is endemic.

My point with Sickle Cell is that if 2 people have children and they are Africans, you have a higher risk of having Sickle Cell just like the man is explaining in the video with Dementia in Sweden

That's true, but I just wanted to point out to you that in terms of population genetics, the reason that the Swedish have a dementia problem is completely different than the reason Africa has a sickle cell problem, and his point seemed to be that the dementia problem is from inbreeding which cannot be said of sickle cell. That's all.
