I think this works better for Feud, but because it involves extensive legal battles between the singer and the producer, it could also work for American Crime Story.

Scenes will not focus on courtroom drama but the personal lives of Kesha and Dr. Luke, which is how Kesha's mom and Gaga get involved. Of course courtroom scenes will also take place.

The opening can revolve around Dr. Luke and Kesha's stardom, how they came into collaboration and how things turned sour. The 5th or 6th episode can be about the judge dismissing her claims, and then the second last episode can be about Kesha dropping her charges, and then the last episode can be about the aftermath where Kesha still struggles to develop her career. Gaga dedicates Til It Happens to You to her friend at the Oscars, and Kesha sings a cover of it near the final scene.

I haven't been following the case too closely so obviously there are more characters to fill. It's just a brief idea I had in mind so excuse me if it's not very detailed.

I don't think they're going to do something so sensitive so early on. Maybe in a few years when the media has moved on from the story and some sort of resolution is attained.

I actually agree. Not to mention these are artists and people still very relevant in the industry. Unlike Bette and Joan.

I agree with everyone and I think the point of Feud is not having a villain and a good guy but two flawed but lovable characters. And Dr Luke is anything but lovable lol

I think it would be too soon to make a tv show about Kesha's legal battle and I think it wouldn't have enough material to make the story somewhat interesting

don't get me wrong, I think that what kesha had to go through is so unfair and disgusting but I don't see her story as tv show material

This would be a good idea for the tenth season, and if Luke didn't try to sue them (which he so would).

Who is playing Max Martin? And I feel like Alexandra Daddario would be a good Katy. 

I feel like Lily Rabe reads as a lot older than she actually is, so I'm not sure if she could pull off playing someone like Kesha. She basically has the opposite problem of Chloe Sevigny who seems to remain eternally late 20s/early 30s. 

I love the idea of Chloe playing Gaga though.

This is one of the most high profile cases two years ago tho. The GP has knowledge of it and promotion makes anything work.
