The comparison doesn't make any sense. I'm talking about how a certain demographic (white twinks) obviously have less experience with casual racism and off-handed racial comments.

Saying white people don't have the depth of understanding black people have when it comes to casual racism doesn't make you a victim. Of course black people understand casual racism better - many face such racism every day. A white person might understand intellectually, but you don't have the same experiences we do... That's kinda the entire point.

 

My statement = "I don't expect a forum filled with people who have never experienced casual racism, to be able to easily recognize such instances of casual racism."

It doesn't = "White people are too dumb to understand things that black people can understand"

I'm not defending the actions, words or behavior of Azealia Banks. It's interesting that your associating me questioning racial bias in someone's comment with defending AB.

Apparently telling people not to be racist against AB, or to associate her religion with uncivilized savagery is the same as supporting her problematic words, her physical assaults and her criminal actions?

You are making some very revealing assumptions I must say, not that you seem enlightened enough to recognize that in yourself.

I couldn't care less about her skin colour. All I can see is her as a person and she's trash. As I've explained multiple times - and you acknowledged at one point before backtracking. I didn't expect that white twinks would be able to clearly recognize such a casual example of racism, as it is something completely outside of their everyday experience and wouldn't have much first hand knowledge about the situation.

In terms of calling yout unenlightened... That's based upon your clearly limited understanding of racism and your own implicit biases that you have revealed throughout this conversation (You acting like a victim when I pointed out the demographic of this fan site and trying to call me out while staying silent on the racial undertones of the original post, you trying to conflate me pointing out racism as me 'defending' the character of a black woman just found guilty of assault, you downplaying right now the implicit racism in the other members post as 'clumsy' and informing me how I should react to such racism).
