SO i watched it on youtube and the rest was history. I don't really remember poker face coming out but i remember hearing it EVERYWHERE and watching the video, but i remember paprazzi. My straight friends where like "look at this new gaga song" as it came on the music channel on tv, and I just remember her spiraling down and thinking it was really catchy and good haha. You know - the usual way how one starts searching DIY PC repair tutorials and ends up seeing seahorse reproduction videos on YT. My cousin showed me and my brother the music video for Poker Face and for some reason I got really terrified of Lady Gaga for a few months I think I had heard Just Dance on the radio before then but I thought it was Rihanna singing so idk if that counted Then I was on Pandora and searched Katy Perry bc before my child brain developed actual music taste my 8 year old self was bopping to Hot N' Cold by Kety (a low point of my life) and LoveGame started playing, and I saw it was Lady Gaga and I got really scared (again idk why) but I guess I was too stupid to know how to turn it off and I was out of skips so I kept listening, and I then asked my mom what a disco stick was and that's when I started to not fear Gaga Then when I heard Paparazzi I started to really like her for a few months. I didn't really have an opinion on Bad Romance bc it was played so much on the radio I became numb to it, but I was too scared to finish the video (I don't even think she was that scary at the time idk why I was like this). For some reason I didn't know Telephone existed until I started to stan, but I was in love with Alejandro, my Christian friend got mad at me bc I kept singing it for a year. And The Fame Monster came out like a day before my birthday, and I was going to Newbury comics get stuff bc I was a* cool 10 year old* and they had a huge poster of the cover on the windows of the store and I was again terrified, and wouldn't look at the poster and I had to run from the car to the store to avoid eye contact with the 12 foot tall giant Gaga that was staring into my soul. Born This Way I was numb to like Bad Romance bc of how much it was played, but I wasn't as angry at it as my friends were bc any mention of the word 'Gay' in mainstream media triggered every 10 year old around me. I didn't know about Judas, I think my mom turned it off everytime it was on the radio bc I guess she tried to be a christian for like a year or something, idk but that plan failed quickly. Then when the Edge of Glory came out my mom liked it and told me it was about her grandfather so I started to like her, then when I saw the You and I music video on TV I became I small fan. When Applause came out I officially abandoned Kety bc I hated Roar, and started bopping to Applause on the downlow. And I saw the commercial for Do What U Want on TV and it showed the single art and I asked my brother if they were allowed to show that on television. I didn't know G.U.Y. existed. Then finally in 2015 I saw Til it Happens to You on the trending page, and I was like wow Gaga had some bops. So I started listening to Applause like everyday for the rest of the summer and then I found her old songs and songs that I hadn't heard, then that snowballed into me becoming a stan around late 2015.
