Joanne Will Reach 700K, 1 Year From Now

Joanne has currently sold:

 

This time next year, Joanne will have sold 700K, if my calculations are correct. 

 

Right now Halsey's Badlands has sold:

 

when it had been out 4 and half months, like Joanne is now, it had sold:

 

That means that in around a year, Badlands sold 200K copies from the time it had been out 4 months and a half. If Halsey could do that, Gaga can match that in this market. 

So since she's at almost 500K now, she'll be at 700K in one year. (ANTI will have sold about 200K using that same formula).

That means that Joanne will likely outsell Cheek to Cheek and ARTPOP, which would be quite a feat since the market is so different. Joanne has already been in the top 100 of the US album chart longer than ARTPOP was. 

 

 

When ARTPOP was out the same amount of time as Joanne is now, this was its sales:

 

Obviously the market was much different back then and more albums were selling, but why i brought this up is that ARTPOP was selling alright, but its lack of longevity that killed it. Since that point, now three years later, ARTPOP has only sold 75K more copies (Total of 760K). Joanne's longevity is what will make this the bigger album, in the end. "Million Reason"'s future success points to that. 

So yes guys, the Joanne era is bigger than the ARTPOP era, there was an uptick.

I think such predictions are only accurate if there is little to no promotion given to the album (which I think will be the case since the only thing left is the tour).

But yeah the tour will give it a boost so we'll see. Joanne will sell more if she produces one or two more (properly promoted) singles tho.

correct, this is all sales (physical, digital (iTunes, Amazon, etc), vinyl)
