Regional police said on Twitter that Dusseldorf's station is currently closed due to a "comprehensive" police response there. I know, it's more likely to be runover by a car than get injured at such an attack, but it could have been anyone. I feel really sorry for the people that are injured during this attack and I hope that the attackers will be found soon. Dusseldorf isn't really that far from my country too. OliverViennese 1,164 Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Just for those wondering - here are the current facts, according to "Süddeutsche Zeitung": - Seven People injured after an axe attack at Düsseldorf main station (Sieben Menschen werden bei einem Angriff mit einer Axt im Düsseldorfer Hauptbahnhof verletzt.) - One suspect has been arrested by the police (Ein Tatverdächtiger ist in Polizeigewahrsam) - The suspect is 36 years old man from Wuppertal (Es soll sich um einen 36-Jährigen aus Wuppertal handeln) - The man has yugoslavian origin and - according to the police - has suffered psychological problems (Der aus dem ehemaligen Jugoslawien stammende Mann habe offenbar psychische Probleme, so die Polizei.)
