How can Gaga win the streaming GP?

Gaga should do a weekly web series...something like on the road to the Joanne World Tour. Maybe 30 second snippets of live songs that count as streaming on YT. Maybe post an acoustic pre-tour version on Spotify or Apple to hype the tour and gain monthly listeners. She really needs to do something special to get the GP involved in her streaming again something more than just payola for Spotify playlists. IMO.

Your idea is great but only for us fans who care enough to stream something like that. What makes you think the GP would care for 30 second clips of her performing songs. She needs to tap into the GP with her streaming and the only way to do that is to be included on massive spotify playlists such as TTH and to maybe work with a streaming driven artist. Obviously Gaga won't ever feature a streaming artist so we really should hope and pray she gets added on to those big playlists like TTH.

This will sound very 'bling not the music', but, in order to win streaming back..well, she needs a hit. Desperately. There's no much secret about it. She needs a hit, an appealing video, and hype.

That's why PI was so damaging, because she had the hype...A-YO could have done good improvements, but oh well. Now it's MR mission.

Hit after hit will build her streaming power again. But forget about that with Joanne, this album is not designed for that, that's why i'm not mad/angry. Streaming power will be impossible to gain with this era (unless DiC, somehow, smashes, which is pretty unlikely imo). We'll have to wait for LG6.

You need to see if ballads really do well on Spotify though. I looked in the Top 50 and I didn't see any I would have recognized. Someone has mentioned this today, they (Interscope) may be holding out to have Gaga on playlists for the next single

She would have to appeal to a younger audience, or even better, an urban audience. Those are the two largest streaming blocks in America today.

Yes. Dance / electronic / pop sound she started with would appeal to youth more (after all that is her original sound... so that's not selling out)  & she could do this without resorting to tropical house trend or collabing with the sh*tsmokers

I feel like a DIC release with emphasis on Spotify and other streaming services, and if the song is successful everywhere else that could probably revive her streaming power.

I'm pretty sure you are right. Ballads don't generally do well but at least they float in the top 100. Even Make Me (Cry) has done well. Mercy has done well. Wrecking Ball was top ten all over there world on Spotify. There is no reason MR shouldn't be in the top 100 of Spotify. I just think she needs to do something special to win the streaming GP back.
