Gaga Monster 13,001 Posted March 7, 2017 Share Posted March 7, 2017 Wikileaks have released documents detailing how the CIA tracks and watches people via their phone, TV set, webcam, and track them via GPS. Hackers can install a bug on a device without the user knowing, and because the manufacturer itself is not aware, can’t issue a security update for. The documents appear to detail dozens of “zero day” exploits available to the intelligence agency which could be used to listen in to conversations and take covert photos on mobile phones, computers and even smart TVs. A zero-day exploit is a secret attack that a technology company, such as Apple, Google or Samsung, does not know about. In the case of the Samsung TV hack, known as Weeping Angel, the TV screen would turn off and appear inactive, even as it was recording audio and video.
