I have an antenna, but where I live, I get sh*tty reception. I have a Roku, and many new shows I want to watch either don't make it to any of the Roku apps or I end up watching a week later because of my schedule. The concept of a documentary about a movement I'm currently a part of doesn't seem vital to watch to me. I never heard of it until now. doesn't seem like it has a fresh perspective or anything particularly exciting. also almost 3 million people saw it on prime time TV....that isn't good? lmao. I'd recommend katie couric's gender revolution on nat geo. seems interesting. Just waiting for it to be available for free somewhere. (You don't "need" to know anything, but understanding that being LGBT does align yourself with people in history whether you accept it or not is to me some kind of important) If for no other reason than to avoid becoming out of touch with reality, I think its important That being said, this is sad, but also kind of cool that that many people watched it. Most young gays don't even know the history of their community and don't care to know. You people spend hours on this site and can't stop ten minutes to read an article. There is also the fact it is about minorities, LGBT in particular. However, that doesn't mean that it appeals to LGBT. It will appeal to some outside of it, but let's make no qualms, this was not meant for a general audience. I don't like the idea of blaming the community for when something related to it fails. It does come off as very... well... it's not thoroughly appealing. I hate this article though. Like people have other things to do with their lives. And I'm sorry, but yes, some of would prefer to escape at least for a little while. This show would just drive you further deeper into what is happening. People will do what they want to do to help, but watching television should be an escape. And honestly, if like I had the choice between this and something like Yuri on ice, I'm going with YOI.
