baptism 2,670
Super tired of every male rapper sounding the same and doing the same things vocally, so the feature kind of irks me, but the song itself isn't too bad. I think Iggy gets a LOT of hate for being a white female rapper that white male rappers don't get and it's pretty ****ing disgusting. But yeah anyway this is decent. Macklemore got humiliated from every hip hop station talking **** about him to the ESPY awards when Drake called him out with his "Real talent doesn't always win championships, like real music doesn't always win Grammys," line as a huge photo of Macklemore holding his Grammys appeared on a screen behind him At least Macklemore did walks for BLM though. At least the dude acknowledges his privileges, at least the dude admits his whiteness contributes to his success, at least the dude isn't pretending to be black or rapping/talking racist ****. Iggy puts on a slave accent, gets on stage and acts like the most ghetto and ignorant representation of black culture, describes herself as a runaway slave master, contributes basic rhyming schemes with clichéd topics and metaphors with her music and then gets on stage and can't actually f*cking rap her own songs... Not to mention her tweets like “Just saw 5 Black men get arrested out the front of popeyes. #damn #stereotypes” or “Owww studio. Me chief. You Indian. I speak…You listen.” Iggy doesn't get heat for being a white female rapper, she gets heat for being a racist, white woman who appropriates black culture, represents herself as ****ing parody of black women and raps worse than any black female rapper I've heard in my life. If you think she gets it worse than some white male rappers - it's because she refuses to acknowledge her privilege, lacks remarkable talent as a rapper and acts like a racist buffoon. There are some white, female rappers that I **** with - but they are authentic, talented and don't spew racist ****

Like, I could go even further and talk about how strange it is that a white woman with typically black features (surgically enhanced or otherwise) like big lips a big booty And black hair gets popular by appealing to white folk while 'rapping' in a southern black accent and adopting the mannerisms and language of a stereotypical hood black woman.... But that would go beyond convincing people of her racism and go toward confronting them on their own... implicit biases.... White people hate that. It's just funny though - a blonde haired white woman gets famous for making black music for white audiences, with clichéd rap themes, acting like she is a ghetto black woman, with black physical features, rocking black hair and people act shocked that black people are offended. She is a walking, talking parody of a black woman, impersonating the most vapid 'ratchet' representation of a black woman. To me it's like modern day, socially acceptable, black face #SorryNotSorry
