ooo 407
i wish ppl would stop claiming that gaga is overdramatic about this and giving a sensationalized version of events. there are tons of interviews (audio, video, and print) where she reapeats over and over and over and over again the physical and mental toll this all took on her. watch her performance where she broke her hip for example. she is one of the only artists i have seen in her generation speak out on the inhumane treatment a lot of artists receive behind closed doors. to be honest and open about physical and mental abuse is not overdramatic. its very brave. sometimes people (troy) are that vile. his silence on this matter (whether by personal choice or legal reasons) speaks VOLUMES more. also he went around and lied and said "she left me". somtimes people really are assholes. and to discredit gaga when she has, like i said, talked deeply and explicitly many times about what went on for her...come on ppl. And there is an important point to make about Gaga; her character as a person, and everything she stands for and believes in. It is not in her nature to fabricate anything that might hurt another person. She would not lie to hurt anyone. She wouldn't even stretch the truth if it would damage another person's reputation. That's totally not who she is as a person. I live outside the space time continuum.
ooo 407
@Ronk Y E S! EXACTLY! sometimes its like people/fans have ignored who she is and has always been (which i find hard bc she is so open & has proven herself, like you said, to not being a lying, catty person when it comes to subject matters like this). I know she wanted Aura as the lead and she leaked it so we could hear it first, but I've never heard of Sex Dreams being considered

Gaga's original lead singles are always the first tracks on her albums. That probably also means DH was going to be the Joanne era lead How do you know this? Gaga Monster 13,001
He abandoned her when she was no longer the biggest thing, he is a business man. I understand from both Troys view and Gagas view, Gaga didn't want to be a money machine/pop product anymore, Troy was a businessman, just like any other business man he stops when the product (Gaga) is falling before it is too late. As a person, he was wrong for abandoning her when she was at her lowest, but as a business man, he was smart, there was no more growth for her anymore and all she could do was go down, like she did. As a person, he was wrong for abandoning her when she was at her lowest, but as a business man, he was smart, there was no more growth for her anymore and all she could do was go down, like she did. I understand, but there is also cause and effect here. Part of the reason for Gaga's falling was his abandonment at a crucial time, leaving the ARTPOP era in shambles. Gaga's immense talent was the reason ARTPOP turned out to be a commercial success, despite the abandonment. Ironically, Troy would have made money from ARTPOP had he stayed with Gaga. And Gaga's talent, creativity, and artistry was the reason for her earlier successes, and Troy was the lucky beneficiary, as other managers could have reaped the rewards of managing Gaga. Shamefully, the person he abandoned is the person who puts people above money, the person who is dedicated to helping people and spreading love and kindness. This is the person he hurt emotionally and caused further damage to her career. Yes, Troy is a businessman, but there is a moral limit of what you can do to people in the name of profit. And how does his business decision look now? Gaga is popular, her music is selling, and her tour is selling out. This is not connected to Troy, but is a graphic example what hurt can occur when putting profit ahead of people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz7oguguIZE I live outside the space time continuum. I think he was one of the people who didn't call or visit her in the hospital. And she's hinted that 'people in her team' only contacted her to see how her rehabilitation was going, and would push her to get better faster so she could go touring and get back to work when she was really hurting mentally and physically. And she speaks about him here too, even though it could get her into legal trouble (6:31): I literally started crying when she said "I just want to be happy"

Even an underperforming Gaga is still more profitable and recognizable as a "brand" than many of his past clients put together. This was like Lucky Strike leaving Sterling/Cooper/Draper/Pryce on Mad Men - losing the huge brand amongst the smaller, unknown clients is always a big blow. The revenue they bring in helps generate investments for these smaller clients. One doesn't find an artist like Gaga very often. As we can see with Bobby, his stock as a powerful manager in the business rose so much after she left Troy for him.
