Despite BTW being the fan favourite as her magnum opus and it's era is EASILY the biggest of her career in terms of promo. Bobby became her full time manager in Late January/Early February 2014 and then proceeded to give us amazing promo that has gave her two successful albums and a promo schedule SHE is comfortable with. Because when she renegotiated her contract with Interscope one of her deal breakers was her having control over promoting when, where and how many times she wanted. She also got more control over her single choices and what events, awards and side projects she has involvement in. Instead of being with her and asking her how she was feeling/doing. That doesn't sound very cool, didn't know that, but it doesn't really add up to what she said in another interview: However, Gaga didn’t use her time off to simply recover, she also found time to focus on her plans for new album ‘ARTPOP’. “I had six months to beef up my brain and my body,” she says. “I got to put a giant white or black sheet of paint over my whole canvas and I got to review ‘ARTPOP’ again. I was given the time to really be creative because it’s a gazing process, it really is. I have to gaze into the work for long periods of time for it to be good.” - If Troy had a plan already, why did she say this? this sounds like he gave her some time off to recover but she also decided to keep working on ARTPOP, and why did she stay with him until he left her? It was at interscope's suggestion she redo some of the album after a second review since her hip injury moved her release back from April to November and she had time to craft more "pop songs" rather than the EDM ones she wanted. She also stayed with him because she knew that all the plans were in motion and she loved what she made so she wanted the album to be out but she never expected Troy to leave her until he did 2 weeks before the album dropped because early predictions were that the album would underperform due to her dmamaged reputation and overexposure for years. Wasn't that Jimmy Lovine and not Troy? Gaga and hear team had come up 70-100 songs since BTW, eventually whittling them down to 40 track to play for Lovine, he then suggested Applause as the lead single. Gaga's original lead singles are always the first tracks on her albums. That probably also means DH was going to be the Joanne era lead

This story is just a big mess who knows what really happened, we have only heard one side of the story, and even that side is very complicated because we don't have concrete evidence, and as I said Gaga can be very dramatic sometimes, so I'm not sure if she was blowing things out of proportion. I read about the lead single choices too.

I think he was one of the people who didn't call or visit her in the hospital. And she's hinted that 'people in her team' only contacted her to see how her rehabilitation was going, and would push her to get better faster so she could go touring and get back to work when she was really hurting mentally and physically. And she speaks about him here too, even though it could get her into legal trouble (6:31): I LOVE that picture of Troy that she painted. Bogdan 164
"As Carter was facing eviction from his home, record producer Vincent Herbert, who had just left Universal Records, introduced Carter to a new client, then-unknown Lady Gaga, who had just been dropped from Def Jam Records.[3] For the next year, Carter, Herbert, and Gaga went around California, performing at multiple clubs each night with both little money and little support.[4] It was also in 2007 that Carter founded Coalition Media Group, and its management division Atom Factory in 2010.[4] In 2011, he co-founded The Backplane, a Silicon Valley-based startup that attempts to "redefine social media" by allowing celebrities and brands to "connect with fans, foster community, and cultivate brand loyalty".[5] It was also in 2011 that Carter received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Variety... [more success followed]" -wikipedia This is the first time I hear of this. So he was in debt and the person who brought him up on top again was Gaga. Then he goes to betray her. My favorite album and it had to suffer through her darkest time. I love her, she stood really strong. It just makes the album THAT much more personal. To me, I find it deeper than Joanne. It's that mask hiding real, real pain and she tried so hard to make the best out of it. agreed 100% The circumstances around that album make it by far her most personal. Almost every song as super deep meanings. Mary Jane Holland, Aura, Applause, Swine(!!!), Gypsy (ill never forget when she first performed that), etc.
